Akira Kurosawa - Dodeskaden

I have 4 DVD releases of this film. The MeiAh which is poor, a Japanese Toho release, a French Wild Side Films version and the recently released Criterion version (which has yet to arrive). I also have the Criterion Laserdisc version.

I have done a comparison of the Wild Side Films version with the Criterion based on the screen shots posted at DVD Beaver. I'll reserve final judgement until I have been able to fully comapre both versions on a big screen, but on these screenshots I favour the vibrancy of the colour in the Wild Side Films version. Pity my French is so poor.
